SOCIAL INVESTMENT
Chakatsa Communications supports youth development initiatives and contributes towards skills development in the area of Information Communications Technology.
This year, 2011, we have donated four computers to learners pursuing IT studies at a tertiary level and offered a full bursary to one student to study Marketing.
We have conducted workshops for young people on developing CVs and workplace readiness. This is our way of empowering young people in taking charge of their future and participating in the country’s economic development and growth.
Chakatsa is inspired by the idea of “a proud Africa built by its vibrant youth” (which is the vision of the Youth Development Network, South Africa).
In September 2010, we conducted a workshop for a select group of young people to learn the basics of graphic designing and developing websites.
Currently, Chakatsa’s managing director, Ronald Kete mentors four budding entrepreneurs and is committed to using his talents and resources to help advance development and education initiatives in society.
Our staff members are volunteers and community leaders; which we consciously encourage as a company.
